“I searched for local pool cleaning companies and surprisingly there are not that many in my area of Florida. However, there was one, Augustine Aqua Care (Pool Service), owned by Randy Bobo, a small family owned business. I thought I’d give them a call because I always try to support non-chain locally owned businesses. His business mainly serves other kinds of pools than mine. I explained to him that I have a 43’ x 21‘ 55” deep pool that really needs some TLC. That I am a new pool owner and I’m a little overwhelmed with all the products and not knowing what sequence, how much, when, just the basic pool maintenance knowledge. I sent him the first photo showing how cloudy my pool was. I don’t know if it was the photo or me almost in tears, but he said he would be at my house in 30 minutes. He showed up with his truck full of pool magic and spent probably an hour and a half with me going over everything. In actuality, it is not a lot. I just asked a lot of questions and needed to do things by myself after he showed me how to properly read the water test, how to hook up the vacuum to the filter, how I don’t need 90% of the crap that I bought, that balancing pool water is very simple. He utilized the scale of justice as an example with lady justice being the pH, and if that is balanced, then the scales are balanced. If not, first you hit the alkalinity then the chlorine. He made it very simple and recommended that I maintain my pool twice a week due to the size and gave me a schedule of what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. The second photo is how my pool looks five days after meeting with Randy. As you can see, it is crystal clear, beautiful. I highly recommend his services and his “Pool School“ was exactly what I needed moving forward. Thanks Randy!”
